About the FBI Citizens Academy Program

About the FBI Citizens Academy Program

The FBI Citizens Academy Program offers business, religious, civic, and community leaders an immersive, engaging experience inter to the inner workings, mission and priorities of the FBI. The goal of the program is to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community through frank discussion and education.

Programs are held at FBI field offices around the country. FBI employees, former Citizens Academy Program graduates, and community leaders nominate candidates for the program. Once completed, graduates in good standing are eligible to join the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association.

Visit FBI Jacksonville’s Community Outreach page to learn more about the program, application requirements, and submission deadlines.

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked to join the FBIJCAAA, which gives you the chance to continue your education on topics related to the FBI and safety in our communities, and to perform outreach to our communities to help make our neighborhoods safer.
